Alcance

Standardization in the field of fixed fire fighting systems using products for smoke control, i.e, smoke barriers, natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators, powered ventilators, pressure differential systems, smoke control dampers, smoke duct sections, control equipment and power supply. Moreover ISO/TC 21/SC 11 is responsible for standardization in the field of the design and maintenance of smoke control systems for installation in buildings or other construction works.
